Wyatt Mcguire

Wyatt, a third-generation Oklahoman, graduated with High Honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2021 and with Honors from the University of Oklahoma Price School of Business in 2018. At OU Law, he earned six American Jurisprudence Awards, participated in the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition, and served on various committees. He was an Assistant Articles Editor for the Oklahoma Law Review and appointed to the National Order of Barristers upon graduation. Additionally, Wyatt was a Centennial Scholar, Comfort Scholar, and recipient of the Frank and Edna Asper Elkouri Scholarship.

Since graduating from OU Law, Wyatt has represented injured parties in a variety of legal disputes and otherwise has a strong interest in pursuing claims of all stripes. To him, the most important aspect of any case are the clients themselves. Wyatt, accordingly, spends a great deal of time developing trust and an open line of consistent communication with all persons he represents, and his practice has resultingly encompassed a range of civil litigation, including assault and battery claims, retaliation and other First Amendment disputes, harassment claims brought pursuant to Title VI and/or Title IX, mobile home warranty litigation and other consumer protection actions, property damage suits, trespass claims, and insurance bad faith actions. As part of his broad practice, Wyatt has garnered extensive courtroom experience in state and federal court, obtained favorable settlements for a variety of clients, and pursued several claims through trial alongside his parents and colleagues at McGuire Law Firm.

Wyatt is licensed to practice in all courts in Oklahoma, state and federal, and through the years, he has worked diligently to establish strong working relationships with various attorneys across the state, regardless of who they represent. Such efforts further benefit Wyatt’s clients and ultimately promote the early and sound resolution of their disputes. Beyond his legal practice, Wyatt is a proud member of the Luther L. Bohanon American Inn of Court and an active volunteer for Oklahoma Lawyers for Children and Families; he enjoys his two dogs Burt and Buddy, volunteering, following pending litigation in state and federal courts, hitting the gym, and spending much of his spare time with friends and family.
