The most common cause of vehicle accidents is negligent driving, which comes in many forms. Speeding, texting, driving under the influence, and falling asleep at the wheel are all examples of negligent driving. Drivers commit negligent behavior because they believe they have control of their vehicles, which is far from the truth. It only takes a few seconds of negligent driving for a collision to occur. In this case, officials state that Thomas drove at high speed as he headed northbound. Therefore, causing him not to stop in time before hitting Davis’ vehicle. It’s unfortunate that Thomas lost his life in the collision, and it’s also unfortunate that the others are suffering injuries.
