Creek County, OK: Tulsa Woman in Critical Condition After Crash

Creek County, Oklahoma (November 30, 2017): A local Tulsa resident, 37-year-old Amanda C. Hood, is in critical condition following a two-vehicle collision just east of Sapulpa last Friday afternoon, November 24, 2017. The accident remains under investigation and Oklahoma Highway Patrol has been able to communicate few specifical details about the accident. For example, the direction of travel of the vehicles involved remains unknown.

Nevertheless, authorities have concluded that the accident occurred when one of the vehicles failed to yield to the other near the merge of Oklahoma State Highway 117 and 36 West Avenue. Hood, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, was transported from the scene by emergency personnel to a local Tulsa hospital where she was admitted in critical condition. Updates on her condition have not been made publicly available. The three occupants of the other vehicle, who were all wearing seatbelts, were not injured.
