In Oklahoma City today, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol announced that an Altus man killed in an accident was a 20-year-old named Dewayne Eric Skaggs. Skaggs dies last night in a wreck in Kiowa County due to the injuries he sustained in an accident. There was also a 17-year-old passenger in the vehicle with him who was luckily uninjured. The crash is still being investigated because they aren’t sure how it happened. Skaggs was unfortunately not wearing a seatbelt.
