Truck Accidents in Oklahoma
Tens of thousands of people are injured in truck accidents every year, which is why the federal government created strict rules and regulations for all truck companies to make sure their drivers abide by. Truck drivers are only allowed to work a certain amount of hours each week to ensure they don’t fall asleep at the wheel. They’re also not allowed to text or drive under the influence. Lastly, they’re responsible for maintaining a logbook in order to keep track of daily inspections, conditions of the truck, hours of operation, etc. Once more investigation reveals what exactly led to this crash, the police could refer back to the logbook to find out if there was anything notably wrong with the truck before the truck got on the road. If injuries occurred, it’s likely that personal injury lawsuits will be filed with the help of an attorney.
