Reckless driving is to blame for a two car collision in Tulsa on Saturday evening. At approximately 7:00 pm, Tulsa police were alerted were alerted to a red truck parked at a gas station. The truck was believed to be stolen. Police attempted to apprehend the truck driver, however, he then led them on a chase through city streets.
Upon arriving at 14th and Yale, the truck driver ran through a stop sign and crashed into an oncoming Toyota Corolla. Two people were inside the Corolla at the time of the crash. They suffered severe injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital. Fortunately, although their injuries are serious, they are not believed to be life-threatening. Police have not released the name of the suspect driving the red truck.
