Guftin Moore is dead after collision with utility truck near Beggs

A report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol has details about a fatal crash on Highway 75 near Beggs.

Troopers say Guftin Moore was driving north on U.S. 75 just after 6 a.m. At the same time a Navistar utility truck was headed south when the driver Adam Wortman made a left on to a private road. This is the moment where the two vehicles collided. When the dust settled, 23-year-old Guftin Moore was pronounced dead at the scene.

Adam Wortman and an unnamed passenger in his truck were unharmed after the crash. Police are still trying to figure out what led to the crash but details are scarce.

Investigators are investigating the conditions of each of the involved parties. They are also trying to establish who had the right of way and if any other factors are the cause.
