Le Flore County, OK: Driver Killed in Auto Accident on State Highway 112

Le Flore County, Oklahoma (November 6, 2017): The Oklahoman reports that Cameron resident James Bias was killed in a car crash Saturday evening, November 4, 2017.  According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol officers, the deceased’s eastbound vehicle crossed the centerline and collided with a vehicle traveling westbound on State Highway 112, just east of Poteau in Le Flore County. The types, makes, and models of the vehicles involved were not included in reports of the crash.

Though both drivers were reportedly wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident, Bias was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the westbound vehicle, local Poteau resident Crystal Kennedy, was hospitalized for her injuries. The status of Kennedy’s condition has not been released.
