Bus Accidents in Oklahoma
Bus drivers are required to abide by the common carrier law, which means that drivers owe the public a responsibility to follow all road laws at all times. This means that bus drivers don’t have the luxury of partaking in negligent behavior like most other drivers do. Bus drivers have a duty to be alert and aware of the roads at all times because they’re responsible for so many lives. In this accident, officials reported that the bus failed to yield as it turned left onto the highway. Once the police get to the bottom of who should be deemed liable, there will be lots of personal injury lawsuits since twelve people suffered injuries.
