A crash on I-35 near mile marker 19 left two people injured and the outside lane blocked. As of now, investigators have released that two passenger cars were involved.
Authorities say both vehicles were going south when one car crashed into the back of the other. Police believe the driver of the first sedan caused the crash. However, they have not determined if any road conditions or obstacles were contributing factors. As a result of the crash, both drivers were injured and had to be taken to a local hospital.
A positive side to this is that no one was killed, and the blocked road only stayed blocked for less than an hour. Police do not suspect drugs or alcohol caused this crash, but they do suspect inattention. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said it will provide updates as new developments arise.
