Pedestrian Accidents in Oklahoma
Hit-and-run accidents are so devastating because the drivers leave injured victims out on the streets to suffer instead of pulling over and calling for help. Johnson’s life might have been saved if the driver was responsible and called an ambulance to transfer Johnson to a hospital. The driver potentially had an expired license, a warrant out for his arrest, no auto insurance, or was driving in a stolen vehicle. Nonetheless, he still committed a crime and owes it to Johnson and his family to take responsibility for his actions. It’s very sad that Johnson lost his life in this accident. Johnson’s family can file a wrongful death lawsuit with the help of an attorney.
