34-year-old Nicholas Moore was arrested for his involvement in a fatal car crash Friday
Authorities say a motorcycle and semi truck attempted to enter the Broken Arrow Expressway on-ramp Friday. Police say Moore failed to yield to the motorcyclist and the results were devastating. EMTs rushed to the scene to treat injuries but were too late. Authorities did not release the name of the individual or say how many were on the motorcycle, but the driver was pronounced dead.
Investigators with the Tulsa Police Department are gathering all available evidence at the scene of the crash. Also, they will test the blood of each driver to see if impairment was a factor. The report did not mention the condition of the drivers at the scene, other than the loss of life. As of now, the official cause of the crash is homicidal negligence and failure to yield. The southbound lanes on Memorial Dr and the on-ramp to the Broken Arrow Expressway are closed while cleanup crews clear the wreckage. No more information about this accident has been released at this time.
