Pedestrian Accidents in Oklahoma
Pedestrian accidents are tragic not only for the pedestrian but for their loved ones as well because these accidents are almost always catastrophic or fatal. These accidents usually occur because drivers don’t see pedestrians or they see them too late. If a driver is texting, talking on the phone, searching for a lost item, eating, applying make-up, or conversing with other passengers, the driver is likely not paying attention to their surroundings. Although some pedestrians walk into the road at inopportune times, it’s still the driver’s responsibility to be aware of pedestrians even in the most unlikely of places.
Once investigators discover the driver responsible for this tragedy, Jenkins’ family could pursue a wrongful death lawsuit to help pay for funeral expenses. No family should have to go through such a devastating experience. Having a seasoned lawyer can help the legal process run smoother during such a trying time.
