A hit and run accident in Norman, Oklahoma has resulted in a road closure as police investigate. Officers with the Norman Police Department responded to the 1300 block of 180th avenue at approximately 3:30 pm on Monday afternoon. Upon arriving on scene, they located a critically injured victim in the roadway. The identity of the victim is not immediately available. Police closed the road at 180th Avenue between State Highway 9 and Rock Creek Road as the investigation remained ongoing. They are currently searching for a newer model, blue Cadillac CRX. The vehicle likely has front end passenger side damage from the collision. At this time, police believe that the Cadillac CRX struck a pedestrian walking in the road.
