Norman Police searching for hit-and-run suspect that critically injured motorcylcist

Norman Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left a motorcyclist injured.

The crash took place near 168th Ave and police believe a Ford Taurus was the other vehicle involved in the crash. Investigators say the motorcyclist was struck from behind by the Taurus who then continued to flee the scene. Emergency personnel arrived at the scene after an unknown amount of time and helped the man. Although the motorcyclist was injured critically, he was still coherent enough to give a description to police.

Norman police are looking for a 2006-2008 Silver Ford Taurus that has damage to the front end and a missing side mirror. The crash happened on a desolate road, but no witnesses have come forward, this indicates to police that the Taurus is probably known in the community. Norman police are asking the community for help finding the driver to bring them to justice. The crash is still under investigation, we’ll let you know as the situation updates.

We wish the motorcyclist a speedy recovery and hope justice is delivered swiftly.
