Vehicle Accidents in Oklahoma
It’s unfortunate that vehicle accidents occur so frequently. Most causes could be avoided if drivers remained alert and responsible while they operated their vehicles. However, drivers still proceed to text, speed, drive under the influence, fall asleep, apply makeup, and eat. All of these distractions are examples of negligent driving, which is the number one cause of vehicle accidents.
Injuries are almost always a result of negligent behavior. Victims could require medical treatment for an extensive period of time, while other victims are unable to return to normal physical activities. Medical treatment could become very expensive, which is why the liable party should be responsible for any medical expenses. Because this accident put a person in critical condition, that person could file a personal injury lawsuit with the help of a personal injury attorney.
