Recent studies show that around 500,000 truck accidents happen every year and that 75 percent of all truck accidents occur due to drivers in passenger vehicles. This accident is considered a chain-reaction accident, which is when three or more vehicles collide. The reason most chain-reaction accidents and truck accidents occur, is due to negligent driving, which includes using a cell phone, speeding, violating traffic laws, and more.

The police are currently investigating this accident to determine what led up to six vehicles colliding. They’re checking for bad road conditions, malfunctioning auto-parts, and whether some form of negligence played a role. Once they finalize their reports, it’s likely that personal injury lawsuits will be filed with the help of an Oklahoma personal injury attorney.
