Pedestrian Accidents in Oklahoma
Unfortunately, thousands of pedestrian accidents happen every year in Oklahoma. The main causes are distracted driving, which means drivers are too busy on their cell phones and not paying attention to their surroundings. In this case, the driver clearly didn’t see the toddler, but the question is why? If the driver’s focus was on the road the entire time, then the child would have been visible.
The police are currently investigating this accident to determine if negligence played a role in this collision. Once they conclude their reports, the toddler’s parents may be able to file a wrongful death lawsuit.
