Police Investigate Deadly Injury Crash
Oklahoma City, OK (October 15, 2018) In the early morning of October 15th, a deadly injury accident occurred near Northeast 23rd Street and North Coltrane Road. According to officials, a Buick LeSabre and a Honda Pilot collided into each other around midnight. Both of the vehicles headed westbound on Northeast 23rd Street when the driver of the Honda tried to speed past the Buick but hit it instead, which caused both drivers to lose control. Unfortunately, the driver of the Honda ejected from the vehicle and was already dead by the time emergency responders arrived at the scene. The severity of the other driver’s injuries is unclear at this time. The police are currently investigating the accident, but so far, they’ve deemed speed as one of the playing factors.
Vehicle Accidents in Oklahoma
Injuries are very common whenever vehicle accidents occur, but it’s always unfortunate when injuries result to fatalities. A huge reason why accidents even occur is because at least one of the drivers are partaking in negligent behavior. Negligence consists of speeding, driving under the influence, falling asleep at the wheel, and using a cell phone. It’s very unfortunate that a life was lost in this accident, and that another driver could possibly be suffering serious injuries. Once the police complete the investigation, there’s a chance that a personal injury lawsuit or wrongful death lawsuit will be filed.
