Vehicle Accidents in Oklahoma
Millions of vehicle accidents occur every year in Oklahoma for various reasons. The leading cause of most accidents is driver’s error, which falls under negligent driving. When drivers commit negligent acts, they’re committing civil wrongs since they owe it to themselves and others to drive responsibly on all roads at all times. Some drivers believe some negligent behavior is harmless, such as using a cell phone, grooming, or conversing with passengers. Other negligent behavior may be looked upon as more dangerous, such as driving fatigued or driving while impaired. All acts of negligence are equally dangerous because they all take a driver’s attention away from the road, which endangers themselves and others.
Once the police conclude what caused this accident and who will be held liable, it’s likely that personal injury lawsuits will be filed depending on the number of people that were harmed.
