Sometimes when individuals are involved in pedestrian accidents, they might not understand how they can hold another party liable for their personal injuries. Experienced attorneys will help guide injured victims through the legal process especially if the accident happened because of another driver’s negligence. Usually pedestrian accidents occur due to distracted driving, violation of the rules of the road, and speeding. It only takes a few seconds of driving irresponsibly for pedestrians to get hit and suffer severe, catastrophic, or fatal injuries. The most common injuries include traumatic brain injuries, broken bones, limb injuries, and spinal cord injuries. Once the police discover why the driver struck the woman, she could work with an attorney to file a personal injury lawsuit.
