Oklahoma Highway Patrol suspect DUI is the cause of a fatal crash

Reports form OHP say alcohol was a key fact in a fatal car accident in Payne county.

A 30-year old man named Christopher Tucker rammed into the back of a pickup truck before slamming into a tree.

The accident took place near Highway 51 just west of Stillwater.

One of the passengers in the car was pronounced dead at the scene. This was 81-year old Phyllis Sams and the driver 83-year old Larry Sams was treated at a local hospital.

Police say the Tucker’s vehicle had the stench of alcohol.
