One dead and multiple injured in multi-vehicle collision in Johnston County

According to reports released by Oklahoma Highway Patrol a 20-year-old man named Ronnie Hearrell was found dead at a crash scene in Johnston County.

Troopers were called just after 9 in the morning to inspect the scene of a crash involving a international truck and a passenger car. Police say the drivers of the international truck ( Ronnie Hearrell and Thomas Henderson ) were hauling a hay rake when it malfunctioned. The drivers then pulled to the side of the road to make repairs. They followed all safety procedures while attending to their vehicle.

At this time, a Dodge Nitro driven by Tabor Knight 4 passengers crashed into the truck causing the hay rake to hit 20-year-old Ronnie Hearrell. This resulted in Ronnie’s death, and one of the passengers in the car Katelin Garza was pinned inside the vehicle. It took emergency personnel a while to free her, but her injuries were minor.
