Pedestrian Accidents in Oklahoma
Pedestrian accidents occur for a number of reasons, the most common being negligence on the driver’s behalf. Drivers who are texting, driving while impaired, falling asleep at the wheel, or partaking in other activities other than focusing on the road, are usually the ones who hit or run over pedestrians. The results are almost always severe because pedestrians are unable to shield their bodies from the impact of vehicles. This case may be a little more complicated since there was already a domestic dispute underway. Once the police get to the bottom of the intent behind this accident, the husband’s family could pursue a wrongful death lawsuit. These circumstances are highly unfortunate for both parties, especially since a life was lost and the two were married.
