Multiple Injuries, One Fatality in Accident on Highway 69
Stringtown, OK (December 10, 2018) On the evening of December 7th, a deadly accident occurred on U.S. Highway 69 at around 6:30 p.m. According to the reports, a man named Mike Mass drove his 2016 Buick and tried to enter the highway from Fred’s Fish Camp Road when a 2011 Buick headed south struck Mass’ vehicle.
The impact of the accident pinned Mass and his wife, Suzanne Mass, in their car for about 15 minutes until emergency responders arrived to extricate them. They transported Mike Mass to the McAlester hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, his wife suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Brown’s Funeral Home transported her body to the Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s Office. The police are currently investigating the accident to determine who will be held liable. Authorities reported that the roads were wet due to the rain.
