Motor Vehicle Accidents
Thousands of people are involved in car accidents every year. Unfortunately, the number one cause for car accidents is negligent driving. Negligent driving can occur for many reasons, including: utilizing a cell phone, eating, talking to another passenger, looking in the opposite direction of the road, speeding, or driving under the influence. Accidents can also occur due to mechanical issues, bad weather conditions, or bad road conditions.
If a driver suffers fatal injuries, their loved ones can pursue a wrongful death lawsuit depending on the available evidence. If a person survives but suffers severe injuries, the victim can file a personal injury lawsuit on the liable party.
