Three dead and several injured in crash with 18-wheeler

A report from Oklahoma Highway Patrol say driver negligence was a contributing factor to a crash that left Four people dead.

Police say a woman named Erin Van Horn was behind the wheel and there were six kids in the car with her.  Van Horn crashed into the back of an 18-wheeler that was on the shoulder of the road.

Traffic was stopped because of road work being done, and police say there is no evidence that shows the driver of the 18-wheeler was at fault.

Erin Van Horn and her 10-year old son Zachary both died in the crash. An 11-year old boy named Beck Kitterman also died as a result of the crash. There were also three teenage girls who were involved in the accident. One of the girls died from her injuries.
