Commercial Vehicle Accidents in Oklahoma
The leading cause of all vehicle accidents is distracted or negligent driving. When a driver is texting, eating, applying makeup, speeding, or driving under the influence, that driver is committing negligence. Distracted driving is highly dangerous because it only takes a few seconds for a collision to occur. All drivers have a responsibility to be aware of their surroundings as they maneuver through roads. Each driver is responsible for the safety of themselves as well as other drivers. If a driver’s negligent driving causes an accident that injures others, then that driver is responsible for paying for all medical expenses. In this case, because the police confirmed that the ambulance driver is at fault for the collision, then that driver is responsible for covering the woman’s medical expenses for her back injuries.
