Vehicle Accidents in Oklahoma
Almost 700,000 hit-and-run accidents occur in the United States every year. Sadly, the number of fatalities increases by 7.2 percent each year. Whenever drivers flee the scene, they’re either aware that they drove negligently or they’re a criminal afraid of being arrested by the police. Once the police catch the drivers responsible, they get charged with hit-and-run felonies.
As soon as the police catch the driver responsible for this accident, the woman’s family could file a wrongful death lawsuit to help with funeral expenses. Although no amount of money supplements the lost life of a loved one, financial assistance will help alleviate any unnecessary stress.
