Pedestrian Accidents in Oklahoma
Recent studies show that in 2015, 5,376 pedestrians suffered fatal injuries after being struck by vehicles. Because pedestrians don’t wear bodily protection to shield them from harm, they’re highly susceptible to obtaining injuries. The most common injuries include traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neck injuries, fractured bones, and internal damage. Depending on the severity of the accident, injuries can be minor, severe, catastrophic, or fatal.
The police are currently investigating this accident to determine whether speed, drugs and alcohol, mechanical issues, or negligence played a role. Once they conclude their reports, it’s likely that Dodge’s family will file a wrongful death lawsuit with the help of an Oklahoma wrongful death attorney.
