Vehicle Accidents in Oklahoma
Whenever a head-on collision takes place, the leading cause is typically negligence. Drivers end up in the wrong lanes by driving distracted, driving under the influence, speeding, falling asleep at the wheel, and/or using a cell phone. It’s unclear why the vehicle and the school bus ended up colliding into each other, but the police are currently investigating to determine who should be held liable. It’s unfortunate that the driver suffered injuries in this collision. Depending whose liable, the driver might qualify to file a personal injury lawsuit with the help of an attorney.
Determining liability can be complicated when it comes to vehicle accidents, especially when commercial vehicles are involved. School bus drivers must abide by the common carrier law since they are responsible for so many lives during their work shifts. However, since the bus driver doesn’t own the bus, other parties could be held liable depending on what caused the accident. At McGuire Law Firm, we understand the intricacies of personal injury lawsuits, which is why we work tirelessly to ensure our clients receive winning verdicts. We believe our clients should be properly compensated for any injuries or vehicle damages that they didn’t cause.
