Tulsa police are investigating an auto-pedestrian accident that took place near the River Spirit Casino.

Tulsa police are investigating an auto-pedestrian accident that took place near the River Spirit Casino.

According to the report, a woman in her mid 30’s was walking near 83rd and Riverside which is near the River Spirit Casino. A truck is believed to have jumped the curve and struck the woman. The crash was severe and left the woman in critical condition. The report didn’t say if the driver stayed at the crash, but they were not arrested at the scene or cited. A witness to the crash called the police and told them of the man injured. Emergency personnel rushed to the scene and was able to treat the woman.

She was taken to St. Francis Hospital in critical condition where she remains. The woman was not carrying I.D and police are still trying to identify her. While the investigation is proceeding, the identity of the driver will be withheld until evidence is processed. Police will check every detail and test all parties for impairment.
