A two-car collision in Tishomingo on U.S 377 ended in flames

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has released a report about a two-car collision that ended with flames.

Police the car of James Droddy was driving south when for an unknown reason his car crossed the center line. At the same time, Droddy was driving south, the car of Sharesa Armstrong was driving north. When Droddy’s car crossed the centerline he crashed directly into Armstrong’s vehicle.

After the collision, both Droddy and Armstrong’s vehicle caught fire. Unfortunately, both drivers were also trapped inside their vehicles while the fires raged. Emergency responders were not able to get there quick enough and both drivers died in their vehicle.

When emergency crews finally arrived, both drivers had to be extracted from their vehicles. After they were extracted from their vehicle, medical personnel pronounced both drivers dead.
