Two killed and many injured in Davis County collision

A three-car collision in Davis, Oklahoma killed two people and left many others injured.

According to a report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the crash took place on I-35 when three individuals attempted to change a tire. Police say there were two vehicles parked on the shoulder, both partially blocking the road. As the three were making the repairs to the car, a northbound vehicle slammed into two of the men and both parked cars.

The initial impact of the collision killed a 17-year-old boy and a 47-year-old man named Shane Miller. There was another teenager out there with the two killed individuals who were severely injured. Also, there were two passengers inside one of the parked vehicles that were hit. Luckily, both were unharmed.

Troopers are still investigating the crash, but they believe drugs or alcohol may have played a factor. The negligent driver, as well as the victim’s condition, is being investigated so the police have all the facts. They are also talking to witnesses to see what stories align and which are false.
