Truck Accidents in Oklahoma
An average 2,000 people suffer fatal injuries in commercial truck accidents every year in Oklahoma. Fortunately, each year the number of fatalities decreases. This could be due to the fact that the federal government created rules and regulations specifically for truck companies to enforce amongst their drivers. Truck drivers can only drive for limited hours and they must log every detail pertaining to the truck. The most common reasons truck accidents still occur is because of defective auto parts, hazardous road conditions, and negligence. The police are currently investigating what led up to the crash and who should be held liable. There’s a possibility that the deceased driver’s family members could file a wrongful death lawsuit.
