In sad news out of Tulsa this weekend, a 7 year old boy was hit by a vehicle in midtown. Tulsa Police received a call regarding a possible hit and run around 9:30 pm on Saturday night. When they arrived on scene at East Admiral Place and South 67th East Avenue, they encountered witnesses to the crash. The witnesses told them that a dark-colored vehicle had just hit the boy in the street and that the boy’s parents had taken him to the hospital prior to police arrival.
The driver fled the scene of the collision prior to police arriving. His injuries are described as being cuts and bruises but do not appear to be life-threatening. Police investigation of the accident continues. The suspect in the accident has not been located at this time as authorities continue to search for them.
